Larbre Compétition

Larbre Competition was founded in 1998 by Jack Leconte, a passionate fan of motorsport in general and the Porsche marque in particular. A great sportscar enthusiast and former Moto-Cross Champion, Jack was able to build and develop the team while at the same time overseeing the success of his transport and logistics company.

Since 2000 Jack has devoted his time 100% to motorsport in order to consolidate the position of Larbre Competition as a major player in the Grand Touring category. In 2000, the team won the N-GT category of the FIA GT series and in 2001 and 2002 it went on to win the GT Drivers' and Teams' titles, all with a Chrysler Viper.

In its first year of competition with the Ferrari 550, Larbre raced in the GTS class of the Le Mans Endurance Series, winning every round and taking more points than any other team. In 2005 Larbre returned to the FIA GT Championship, winning it after an intensive battle with the factory-backed Maseratis, and also ran (in conjunction with Jerome Policand's Team ASP) a Maranello in the FFSA French GT Championship. Policand and his team mate, Gabriel Balthazard, had a great year and ended the season as Vice Champions.

Larbre return to Le Mans in 2006 with the FIA GT Championship winning Ferrari.

Team MENX

Team MENX was founded in 2000 for entry into the Czech touring car championship, with driver Robert Pergl taking 2nd place in the series. Both team and driver wanted to gain more experience and expanded the programme to the well-known Ferrari Challenge series. The team competed in the Challenge for the next two years and also took part in some endurance races, the biggest successes being first place in the 6 Hours of Vallelunga in 2001 and first place for Robert Pergl in the 2002 German Ferrari Challenge.

The young but ambitious team decided to go a step higher and entered the FIA GT Championship with a Ferrari 360 Modena N-GT in 2003. Team MENX did a great job during their debut season, with the biggest success being third place in the N-GT class in the most demanding race of the season – the Spa 24 Hours.

MENX focused on the European and Italian Ferrari Challenges in 2004 but there was hard work behind the scenes because the team had a strong vision for its future plans. Robert Pergl was fourth overall in the Challenge, while his second position in the Spa LMES race with Tomáš Enge and Patrice Goueslard was an indication of what was to come for 2005. A Team MENX Ferrari 550 has been at every round of Le Mans Endurance Series and the team took their maiden GTS win at Silverstone in August. Their 3rd place in the 2005 series was enough to encourage them to return for 2006 with the very experienced Peter Kox guiding Pergl and Alexey Vasiliev.
